Cugó Gran Macina Malta in Senglea has recently opened its doors to The Little Bastion restaurant.
The Little Bastion restaurant, which promises to offer an ultimate gastronomic experience is set in a truly historic venue and will impress guests with its focus on local produce and sustainability.
The menu, offered for breakfast and dinner includes contemporary Mediterranean dishes only using the finest local and seasonal produce and is inspired by the Mediterranean flair.
Drawing on its history, the restaurants’ gastronomical concept takes on the vast history of the Maltese Islands and takes you on a culinary journey across the Mediterranean. The authentic cuisine on offer unites people, whilst connecting history and contemporary in a warm and friendly atmosphere.

Great care has been taken to design the delectable menu that is a true celebration of Mediterranean cuisine in all its rich diversity. At the restaurant you can also dine al fresco, especially in the warmer months, when the imposing bastions, the fortified city of Birgu, and the spectacular harbour are illuminated by traditional Festa firework displays.

The Little Bastion restaurant is open Monday to Sunday for breakfast between 7.30 am and 10.30 am and dinner from 6.30pm, with the last seating at 10.30 pm. Bookings are made on a reservation basis.
